Paramount and Nickelodeon have been working together ever since they distributed The Rugrats Movie, which was a hit grossing over $100 Million. Since then, Paramount and Nickelodeon have made many movies together. Their last one, Hey Arnold The Movie, made very little money and it looks like The Wild Thornberrys Movie will follow a similar path.
Both films made around $6 Million opening weekend and it looks like both will make just under $20 Million making you wonder if a Spongebob Movie is the right thing to do next. They are developing it as we speak and hopefully, it will make some magic at the box office and make up for their losses this year.
