Hellboy “A Hell of a good time!” — Shannon Lee [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... I waited till one in the morning to see this movie, and I can assure you it was well worth the wait and loss of sleep. I loved the visual and graphics used in the movie, the makeup was beyond believable in my view. I liked the story involved. However I found it to be a mixture of 2 stories, they say it's loosly based off of Seed of Destruction. However I do believe there is an equal amount of Wake the Devil in there too. Mr. Del Toro is a true Hellboy fan. For he didn't change anything about the characters in the comics, other than make them come to life before us. I am not that much of a movie buff, however I really enjoyed the plot, the one liners from Hellboy. It was visually pleasing to me. I hope the second one is in the works, and I hope Ron Peralman is Hellboy. For in my honest opinion. There is no actor currently alive that can be Hellboy. Ron Peralman was meant for this role.
