August 7, 2004 — According to DavisDVD, the extended director's cut edition DVD of 'Hellboy' will hit stores on October 19th, 2004. Incidentally, that puts it in direct competition with the DVD release of 'Van Helsing'. It'll be interesting to see which monster hunter comes out on top!
