Is it just me, or did this movie kind of suck? I'm a big fan of fantasy movies, comics, and stuff like that, but this movie did not keep my attention one bit. I walked into the movie theater thinking that this movie would be awesome, but to my suprise, it wasn't. Is there anyone else that thought this movie wasn't what they expected?

me. I thought i was going to see something great and it kind of failed. The fire girl was cool but beside's that it wasnt great.

Yeah, I admit it that the fire girl was pretty kool, but I think they should have put her in a different movie instead of giving her a part in Hellboy. I believe that she should have been placed in another movie, made by marvel or something of that sort. She could have easily been the star of the movie being that she has special powers dealing with fire.

I take it Holbino... you never read a hellboy comic. now I'm not saying you can't have your opinion on this, but to really even understand the movie, youd pretty much would have to be familiar with the comics. I loved this movie, in fact I am getting the dvd the day it comes out.

Oh and btw, the "fire girl" your refering to, is named Liz Sherman. A good character with a good heart and the awsome Pyrokinetic ability.

I gotta agree with you X I thought this movie was great, ill admit though i thought there were gonna a fiew more fighting parts but overall it was great i loved Sammael and Abe, but i didnt care for Liz too much...And i thought Rasputin went out like a punk, i thought he would have a big fight at the end like in seed of destruction or something but i liked the Behemoth and everything else...oh yeah! and Kroenen was very cool!


by the way did anyone pick up the art of Hellboy book? Its worth buying if you havent got it

The Behemoth was awsome but I thought they could have stretched the fight with it, a bit more.

I've never read any of the Hellboy comics, but I still thought it was a wonderful movie, about as imaginitive as you can get. I only wish that Abe and Liz would have had a little bit more active roles in fighting the bad guys than they did, especially Liz. But it was still GREAT anyway!
