According to E! Online's Anderson Jones Van Der Beek kills himself in the much anticipated flick "The Rules of Attraction."

As soulless drug dealer Sean Bateman (As in, Patrick Bateman. Remember American Psycho?), Van Der Beek cusses like a sailor, picks his nose, does coke, chews hallucinogenic mushrooms, has meaningless sex with abandon, makes out with a guy and, most egregiously, strums a Counting Crows song on a guitar while he sings along.
