Last Sunday i was priveledged enough to see a test screening of the core. Before it started, we were told that the music and special effects were no where near complete, but they should be in the first quarter of 2003. With those points in mind, I give you my review: The Core is a humerous action movie with an Armageddon/End of the World feel. The main parts are very well acted and there is strong character development. The special effects that have been completed look very nice, and with the extra months on post production, they have the potential to be amazing. The basic story idea is a bit far fetched, but if you can get past that main sore, the dialogue, science, and technology in the movie is pretty believable. Over all, this was a very good movie, very entertaining, and I definately want to see it again when it is released.
