A scooper going by the name of 'Dante' writes in to tell us that he caught a test screening of 'The Core' recently - and liked what he saw!

Hey guys - longtime reader, first time scooper. I was able to catch a test screening of The Core a few days ago. The plot is pretty much outlined in the trailer - a group of people have to dig down into the Earth's core to jumpstart the planet and make the core start spinning again (it stopped). I went in expecting 'Armageddon but down'. I was totally blown away! Great writing, hilarious dialogue (intentionally, not becuase it's so bad), and surprisngly good acting! Stanley Tucci stands out in particular - he's hilariously over the top. Everyone was great except Hilary Swank...she kinda paled in comparison. Some of the effects weren't done yet, but the ones that were rocked!!! There's this scene with the Golden Gate bridge that will make you never want to ride on a bridge again...that's all I'm gonna say. Anyways, whenever this movie ends up coming out, GO SEE IT! It's completely worth your time and money. Hope this is useful! -Dante.
