Totally impossible! If somehow some force which we have not concieved of could manage to do such a thing, all living things on the surface of the earth would be destroyed, and many geographic features would be destroyed as well. But somehow this adds to the mystery.... It only makes me more interested in the film.
yeah.. but in science fiction they are customarily supposed to give you some idea of how the amazing thing occurs.... I personally can't wait til they give us a look at how (in the fiction) such a thing comes to be
