Haven't met too many folks out there that could give Jaume Balaguero's Darkness a positive endorsement, but I am curious to know what's been added to (or shall we say "originally cut" from) the picture for its DVD release.

More details have surfaced about the disc, which arrives on April 26th from Dimension Home Video. Yes, we get two separate presentations. An un-cut version and the theatrical version. The former will come with fourteen minutes excised inexplicably for its U.S. debut and both discs have are being packed with the featurette Darkness Illuminated: Behind-the-Scenes of Darkness and the original theatrical trailer and teaser.

If you're a fan, expect a price tag of about $29.99. Technical specs? A 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and an English Dolby Digital 5.1 sound presentation.

You can view the specs here!
