You'd think someone had just made him watch Mission to Mars and called it Timeline. I know it might suck, but there are people in this world that believe, deep down, that Final Destination 2 is a GOOD movie. After Shakespeare in Love beat Saving Private Ryan for the Best Picture award, I generally ignore critics. But hey maybe he is right and the movie totally blows. I dont care - I loved the book a lot and I'm gonna see it even if it comes out straight to video. If they follow the stuff in the book then they can't, but in the previews I saw one of the guys refer to the professor as "father"?? Well, I guess you could sorta say chris and he has a father-son relationship so you don't have to explain the whole thing, but still...if movie producers went with what is in the book most of the time, movies wouldn't be disappointing.
