Now the film with the reshot scenes and new score, still receiving negative comments. Shouldn't Donner just release the previous cut and restore the score? For god's sake!

What are you talking about.....? What negative comments? Citing some sources would be nice.

Since this version of the film is claimed to be the "improved" version, or is it?..

Okay well AICN seems to really have something against medievil movies. You'd think someone had just made him watch Mission to Mars and called it Timeline.

I know it might suck, but there are people in this world that believe, deep down, that Final Destination 2 is a GOOD movie. After Shakespeare in Love beat Saving Private Ryan for the Best Picture award, I generally ignore critics.

But hey maybe he is right and the movie totally blows. I dont care - I loved the book a lot and I'm gonna see it even if it comes out straight to video.

Hmm...I have read the book, and I really hope they don't screw this up. If they follow the stuff in the book then they can't, but in the previews I saw one of the guys refer to the professor as "father"?? Well, I guess you could sorta say chris and he has a father-son relationship so you don't have to explain the whole thing, but still...if movie producers went with what is in the book most of the time, movies wouldn't be disappointing.

I go to see it Saturday so i will cross my fingers

Me: We're not?
Thomas: Well, we're not winners either.
