Assuming you've seen both, which did you like better?

Insomnia (1997) (Erik Skjoldbjfrg)

OR

Insomnia (2002) (Christopher Nolan)

For once, an american remake is better than the original film.

Chris Nolan is probably the reason of the success of the film. Where the original bored me, Nolan proved he is really a great director.

Have you seen Following, Nolan's first feature film ? It's excellent !

Agreed.. the 2002 American version by Nolan was MUCH better. I found myself bored with the original.

And yes, I have seen Following -- it's one of my favorite DVD's in my collection. Very indie, very suave.
