Something evil's watching over you, coming from the sky above, and there's nothing you can do. Prepare to fight. There'll be no place to run as you're caught within the grip of the evil Fallen one.
As the Robots in Disguise reach the 25th anniversary of their Saturday-morning debut, they are once again granted a fitting tribute in theaters courtesy of Hasbro, Michael Bay, and a veritable legion of talented actors, artists, and special effects crews.
To call this film an explosive thrill ride would be a gross understatement. As premises of introduction were taken care of in the first movie, "Transformers 2" is quickly able to go from zero to mind-blowing from the start, only rarely slowing down to let viewers catch their collective breath.
In this film, the malevolent Decepticons have found the means to revive their defeated leader Megatron, but he's only half of the problem. With more antagonists arriving from the nether regions of space, the Autobots quickly find themselves outnumbered, outgunned, and at the mercy of a sinister entity known only as "The Fallen," a throwback from the Transformers' forgotten history.
The Fallen seeks a powerful key known as the Matrix of Leadership to power a doomsday device capable of destroying Earth's sun, and giving him and his acolytes enough power to rule the galaxy.
What stands in his way? A seemingly defused faction of Autobots and humans led by Shia LaBeouf reprising his role as the brave Samuel Witwicky. Megan Fox has also returned as Mikaela, and given many of her ... *ahem* ... form fitting appearances, most fanboys will be glad of it.
While astonishingly entertaining, a great lesson can also be gleaned -- though many of us can be reluctant to do great things in this life, the words of the great Optimus Prime ring as true as they always have: "Fate rarely calls on us at a moment of our choosing."
The race for the fate of Earth has once again begun in earnest. From the oceans of the Laurentian Abyss to the desert sands of the Pyramids at Giza, "Revenge of the Fallen" more than qualifies as a competent and worthy successor to the Transformers legacy.
Find the Matrix Sam, and use it to light our darkest hour.

You know, discuss things like the acting, some high points, maybe some low points. Maybe comment on how this dilm differs from the first one, how it may be better or worse. How the film expands upon concepts that were shown in the first film.
Your review was about as indepth as the movie.
Damn.... did you have a rough weekend or something? lol.
I agree that it wasn't exactly indepth but that was harsh.
To be honest I dont think Longshot can say anything positive...hates everyone and everything...just my opinoin put youve done nothing but complain on both TF boards.
I have to disagree with you there. He's just opinionated but is normally one of the more respectful members on here. That's why I had to comment on his post since, unlike a lot of other posters, him making that kind of post was really out of character as far as I've seen. I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Nah.
He's just very passionate about CERTAIN things, and when you've been here for awhile, you'll see that he's actually one of the smartest people here.
There ARE people in here who hate everyone and everything, and you'll see that too, but Longshot isn't one of them.
If you want a rational opinion on something, he's one of the first people you'll want to listen to. Ninety-nine percent of the time, he's got facts to back up what he says.
Another person to go to if you want info and/or rationalism is Emijayne, but I haven't seen her around here too much recently.
