Is this series getting a bit tired? I liked the first one and the second one was cute with the mamouth that thinks it's a opossum. But I think this film won't do very well. Look at Shrek 3 crashed and burned.

I agree.

The first was great because it actually had a good story. Two opposing knuckleheads trying to take care of a baby, Diego struggling to pick a side, and the Family searching for their kid.

The second had a very short plot that was mostly mixed in with random scenes to fill up the time. It failed to have an impact.

If they couldn't find a plausible story for the second, which had four years to think of. Then they are bound to lack a good plot for the third.

Yeah, it is getting a little tired. But they are sure going to try. It may be another cynical money-grab, but the characters were always pretty appealing, and if they do it right, the market for kids films is still a hot one.

Meanwhile, the short promos with the squirrel have really been the lifeblood of this series. They're still funny.

I agree. I suppose that's why they're bringing back creatures that lived before the ice age?

If this isn't an epic failure, at least storywise, I'll be surprised.
