| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |
|
This installment of the Night at the Museum series continues the advantures of the characters from the first film; and is pretty successful at keeping the laughs at a high level throughout.
Some of the best sequences include the motorcycle chase; flashlights as weapons; a sendup of Apollo 13 launch sequence; a cameo by Oscar the Grouch, and some spunky dialogue between the slightly more competent Larry Daly (Ben Stiller) and Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams) and the Karloffian Pharaoh played by Hank Azaria.
If I have a complaint its that they weren't able to give all the museum exhibit characters enough to do, since there were so many.
It's good, light summer fare and all ages seemed to find something funny when I saw it; whether slapstick action or just zany dialogue. |
