Jack Black has joined the cast of Tropic Thunder which also includes Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., and Jay Baruchel.

After taking a tour into the romantic comedy genre with "The Holiday," Jack Black is back to yukking it up with the guys.

The "King Kong" actor will reteam with his ol' pal Ben Stiller or "Tropic Thunder," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The DreamWorks/Red Hour Films picture revolves around the production of a big-budget war movie. Through a series of freak occurrences, everything goes SNAFU and somehow the actors end up having to actually be the soldiers they're portraying in order to survive...
