I'll be genuinely surprised if you find too many people in here who think that the Saw movies suck.

The SAW movies are one of the best horror series ever made .

People like running their mouth on how bad this franchise is, with bad acting and horrible writing. First off i don't think anyone claims these films are great, 2nd these films are horror films, they're supposed to be a bit unrealistic, and finally every year its proven, people want to see these movies.
It is one of the most successful franchise's in the history of films, something that started off with a 1 Million$ budget took in nearly half a billion dollars. Sure they might be milking it a bit, but who cares. If they can release a solid film every year, so be it. Its all one big soap opera.

They're very weak films, but theyre enjoyable and their attention to detail and continuity is uncanny.

A lot of people feel the same way about the Nightmare on Elm Street series, but if they had stopped there, then we wouldn't have gotten the TOTALLY awesome showdown film that was Freddy vs. Jason.
