sting

Both IGN and Bloody Disgusting recently confirmed some casting info for the upcoming SAW V. Obviously, the mastermind behind all this torture madness, Tobin Bell aka Jigsaw, will be back dispensing morality-based agony once again - SPOILER! - from beyond the grave but it seems Scott Patterson, who recently joined the franchise in SAW IV, and Costas Mandylor, who's a relatively experienced SAW alum having become part of the fun torture games in SAW III, will also be back possibly begging for release from Jigsaw's traps. This time around David Hackl will be directing from a script by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan. Production is expected to begin March 17th for an October 24th release.

Is another entry in the annual Saw franchise even news anymore?

It's become pretty much a tradition now rather than a film franchise. Every year in October we can expect Halloween and a new Saw movie, though only the previous one is noteworthy.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

I'm still correct. By 6-8 I have correctly stated a minimum of 6 but no more than 8.
