September 4, 2006 — Early numbers have placed "Invincible", which is distributed by Disney, as the number one film for the weekend, earning an estimated $11.9 million. The film has made $34.5 million in ten days. "Crank" opened at #2 although figures have not been released yet by Lionsgate, the film's distributor. "The Wicker Man", starring Nicholas Cage, which is a remake of a cult British thriller, opened at #3 with $9.6 million, according to the distributor, Warner Bros. Final ticket sales will be released tomorrow.
