FINALLY were talkin bout the birds
here are sum reasons why the eagles will go deep in the playoffs and could win the nfc east
1. eagles d-line is a monster, its gonna be tough for teams to gain more then 100 yards rushing a game, not only that the pass rush will be amazing, as we seen in th opening drives of pre season, not only that it will leave players in the back field more rested and healthy and get more ints and fumbles, sacks should go up this year(cant wait to see dawkins hit t.o)
2. when u got a healthy mcnabb u got an offense. we see how this offence can play w.o t.o, and so far it looks very good, the 2 tight end system works really well and rookie baskett is doin a good job, mcnabb lost sum weight and has more speed then he has recent years and westbrook is back into form, now ppl are sayin that we dunt have a big back or anythin, but dont worry they will soon seeing. they are very interested in picking up stephan davis to be the birds big back. now with the wide recivers, since t.o is gone we wont have great numbers.... wrong again we will have big numbers but it will be more players gettin the ball then just one, we seen that reggie brown is more then able to play in this pffence, and seen it wiht basket, but not only that the eagles are closer to makin a deal for denvers wide reciver ashly lalhee then any other team, and a deal is supposed to be worked out as early as tomarrow. and see the best part doesnt even yet to begin, when i went to eagles training camp i saw j.r reed take back 2 T.DS in a row against the special teams. and i saw david akers kick 65 yard field goals just for fun.(and he also hit that 55 yarder against oakland)
3. the nfc eats is actually not as good as everyone is makin it out to be, well its good but not "that" good, as of right now t.o is very close to being out the door in dallas, theres more goin on there then u guys kno, brining in his own trainers really made parcells pissed and jerry jones is wonderin wats up wiht him seein that he hasnt practiced wiht the team, also bledsoe and owens dont have the timing down and owens had alot of droped balls in practice with bledsoe, parcells has also said that this team has been horrific during traingcamp and wants to see sum better performances out of the whole team.
also we remember wat happend wiht the lakers when they had so many superstars on there team that they collapsed, well look at washington, the WRs are moss, randel el, patten, and lloyd. they all want the ball (reason why randel el went to washington) how will brunell give the ball to all of them when they have a good TE and a Rb that is very good (presuming he plays after the injury he got last night wat really hurts the team) some how i can see this team blowin up.
Now the giants...wow what not to say, cophlin lost this team, they need a new head coach to bring everythin togather. plaxico is pissed at eli and shokey still has sum concussion like symptoms, and also havin tiki barber sayin hes retiring in 2 years doesnt make things better, and when there DE feels insulted by the coach things arnt going well, things are goin to be different wiht this team then wat happend last year belive me, its not gonna be the same.
ladies and gentlemen belive it or not..the Philadelphia Eagles own this division once again, sit back and enjoy and hope u guys see me on MNF against the packers, cuz im there.
also ill be at the falcons game,
CANT WAIT!!!
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tokey said: Well i'm more of a basketball guy myself but as for NFL talk I love the Eagles and to be honest I hated seeing them let TO go... damn I wish players would just go out and play (like they are paid to do), none the less it's pretty clear that the Eagles still have a legit shot this year. I don't see a heavy favorite, maybe Manning will finally have his time to shine. Honestly, the guy deserves it.
Too bad their bball team doesnt have a chance in hell... I wonder why you people won't trade Iverson? Great player? Yes. Marketable? Definitely. Can win a title by himself? Not at his age, maybe a few years ago. You need to rebuild and might as well get some youth, draft picks, and cap space for him while hes still valuable. So that said you guys need to put some faith in your football team because your NBA drought won't end until Iverson goes!
I completely agree. On the other hand, as a Philly spots fan, I've seen too many great players leave or get traded from this town. Charles Barkley, Curt Shilling, Eric Lindross, Reggie White, etc.
From a completely illogical and selfish standpoint, I don't want to see Iverson go. February 3, 1959

i agree, having iverson go probably mite hurt us becuz of the players we would of supposidly of gotten. he is the reason why people go to sixer games becuz hes just all around an amazing player, however he does need to coexist wiht the players around him such as webber and iggy, if he can do that and share the ball more, the sixers could see a playoff birth You are not a champion until you beat a champion-Donovan Mcnabb |
