This is a Narnia-like epic being planned. Sounds good so far, and it comes from the novel by Richard King-Smith.
So far we know that Robert Nelson Jacobs (The Shipping News) will be writing the screenplay, and Jay Russell will direct.
Filing will be in our favoriite location...New Zealand! Barrie Osborne, of LOTR fame will be overseeing from the production side.
Sounds like a good team.
