November 30, 2008 — So, I attended a "My Name Is Bruce" screening in Chicago at Century Centre Theater. Bruce, himself, answered fan questions after the film. Some things that were learned:
Ron Perlman has replaced Bruce Campbell in "Bubba Nosferatu", the sequel to "Bubba Ho Tep". Paul Giamatti will also star.
Will there be a sequel to "My Name Is ? Bruce answered if we watch the original film like a "million times." He did mention a sequel title though, "My Name Is Still Bruce."
What about "Evil Dead 4 ? Bruce asked the fans if were excited when we heard that "Indiana Jones 4" was about to come out. Of course, the crowd was like "no." He compared that reason to why "Evil Dead 4" should not be made. The crowd didn't buy it though.
What about "Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash?" Bruce replied, "Can Ash really kill any of those guys?" So basically, forget about that film.
Bruce is an awesome guy, and funny as hell in person. So make sure to check out one of his appearances around the country. And what about "My Name is Bruce?"
