Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer “Too Campy” — matacron [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Though dealing with characters imbued with otherworldly powers, this film is hardly a masterpiece of cosmic proportions. While certainly a visual roller coaster to the average viewer, its excessive comic relief and general refusal to keep to the classic story from which it is derived will leave hard-core comic book fans with an unwanted feeling of camp.
