| Well, we know Doom will have some big role in 3, it's a contractual thing. And, seeing how many improvements they made with him in 2 (in my opinion), I think there's one story that would make 3 amazing. I've said it in a couple other threads already, and I want to see the "Unthinkable" story line that Mark Waid wrote and wrapped up in FF #500. In it, Doom realizes that as a kid living in Latveria, (which we've finally seen in the movies) he abandoned his heritage, magic, and his girlfriend Valeria to study science in America. Realizing that science hasn't helped him beat Reed, he makes a deal with three demons to make him the sorcerer he would have been if he'd spent the years studying magic. Him giving them his part of the bargain alone would instantly make movie Doom 100% more evil. He steals Franklin and Valeria, Reed and Sue's children, then spends a couple issues wailing on the FF because Reed can't fight it with science. Granted, Doctor Strange shows up in the book and helps Reed out, so something else would need to give them an edge over Doom, but any half-decent screenwriter should be able to come up with another option for that. This one story really highlights and fixes a lot of the problems people have had with 1 and 2. Doom is seriously evil, with some cool new armor to boot. Reed is the focus, it shows him as a real human being and not just a genius. The fights are pretty epic, and it clearly shows why they are a family and how deeply they are connected to each other. "Rrush'hok ichnar vinim'hok" - "Die well, brave warrior"
"I never take anything on faith or at face value." - Wolverine
