Why not?? Nobody does movies like the comic....so why can't they kill him off??

I'm not saying I want it to happen but the other pictures I have blurr too much since it's a motion caption and whoever is hit with the blast disappears.

But then again, we all thought they showed Harry's death in the SM3 trailers. But he just walked out of that (somehow)with a little scratch on his cheek .

Even though Fox was stupid enough to kill off Cyclops, which I'm still livid about, and they actually showed the footage of his floating glasses in the trailer, I doubt this is the death of Victor Von Doom, especially since Julian McMahon confirmed he's signed on for the third.

This could be a Doombot, but then again -- [SPOILER] it's believed that Doctor Doom might try to steal Silver Surfer's powers, based off a FF comic story arc, so he could've survived the attack if he's acquired some of his powers already. [/SPOILER]

We won't know for sure until the 15th, but I admit this movie looks awesome.

[SPOILER] The Surfer resurrects her because he falls in love with Sue and because of her wants to save Earth and stop Galactus. [/SPOILER]

Which deviates from the comics because I believe it was Alicia (Ben's girlfriend) that turned him into a good guy.

Well....as Ice said above, it could end up being a robot clone. Regardless, I see no reason Doom can't die especially if they are going with Galactus as the main bad guy in part 3. Doom would only become a by-product and an afterthought like Venom. The FF films all horrible enough as is. No need to really over do it.

They tend to kill the villians in movies...

But as we know from the comics, hardy anyone ever stays dead.

I wouldn4t like it at all, if they killed of Doom, but if they wanted to show how mighty the Surfer is, this would be an impressive way to do it.

Venom didn't die. If you look closely, you will see venom flying upwards in the blast. If it died, there would have been residue, yet there was nothing but a blast scar on the ground.

A lot of people saw a skeleton on the ground, (I didn't, but MANY people claim they did) so it looks like he might truly be dead, which I don't have a big problem with. It's more conclusive, especially considering they didn't know if there would be another one.
