Australia picked for shooting location for TV series

Lucas has chosen Australia to shot the upcoming Star Wars TV series. Lucas shot the three prequels in the land down under. Shooting is slated to start in 2010.

After making the superhit Star Wars episode II 'Attack of the Clones' and episode III 'Revenge of the Sith' in Sydney's Fox studio, George Lucas has again chosen Australia as the desired location to shoot the Star Wars TV series.

According to the grapevine, if given the green signal, the yet untitled Star Wars series will be on one of the most expensive TV productions to be made in Australia.

"We're looking to shoot it in Australia," news.com.au quoted filmmaker George Lucas as saying.
