Wow, the kid is a TERRIBLE actor and he talks like he's the next big thing, once he get's back from his ONE year off.

Really? The last ten don't count for some reason?

Side note: I love how even after ten years, people are making excuses for Episode I. It's for kid's!

Also, an MMORPG isn't at his geek level?

Totally could have fooled me.

I've been here since 2000 and have undergone six-seven personas, but I am still me...Tiffany, I love you.

Funny how the fans are still bitter towards him today than he's blown out to be towards the films. I thought he came off pretty level-headed about it. Could sense some bitterness about high school and college, but that's totally normal. I can't even begin to imagine how annoying it must've been.

Take that scene in Being John Malkovich when that douche won't leave Malkovich alone... multiply it by 10... add in the fact that this is happening at an impressionable age... add that it was Star Wars...

Ugh. I think that the fact that he's level headed about it is something of a triumph.

I remember watching that documentary on the Episode I DVD. The whole thing was a fly-on-the-wall look behind the scenes of the production of the film. There was a very simple shot of Lloyd playing with some sand on an interior Tatooine set. Within the context of all the criticism the film and his performance received, that simple shot ended up hitting me in a peculiar way. I felt so much pity for this kid that had no idea what he was gonna experience for the rest of his childhood.

But hey, let's keep berating him for doing something he had no idea what he was getting himself into as a child. It's the grown up thing to do.

Well said there, man. I imagine with the criticim & probably dealing with people who are rude to him in schools & such, it probably why he kinda bitter toward it. Especially when he has to deal with this before he grew up.

I really don't understand how any fan could blame him for the fact that Episode I sucked worse than almost any movie in history.

I lay it all on the head of George Lucas.
