What if he decided he will conquer Star Trek and make a trilogy for him self, how do you think he will direct it and what would be better and what would be worse from it?

Neither was the new Star trek JJ Abrams original idea, either. That's part of the problem.

I now know how the X-Men fans feel about their 'canon' being trashed by Hollywood, that's why, or the Superman fans, or half-a-dozen other genres.

Imagine what will happen when Lucas dies and someone re-boots these films? Ohboy, watch out.

The problem is hardcore Trek fans just can't stand the new Star Trek movie like they couldn't stand Star Trek Enterprise or changes to the franchise. They are just way too attached to the Star Trek canon/continuity and so on. They just take the whole thing way too seriously.
