While he was at the 31st Deauville American Film Festival, Judd Apatow was asked by Ecran Large about a possible sequel: "This might be a little bit difficult considering how the movie ends. As far as I'm concerned, there's no way I'm doing a second one. At best, what could be done would be a television serie about the people in the shop where Andy (Steve Carell) is working (laughs)."
