January 26, 2007 — Columbia/Sony Pictures is said to have started talking with David Koepp about writing the story for Spider-Man 4. Koepp already has a feel for the series writing the film that was released in 2002.
Variety reports David Koepp is in negotiations with Columbia/Sony Pictures to write the screenplay for a "possible" "Spider-Man 4." Koepp is familiar with the character, having written the screenplay for the 2002 film that launched the franchise.
UCLA film school grad Koepp is a born natural for the action and adventure genre, having penned "Mission: Impossible" film, "War of the Worlds," "Panic Room," and two of the "Jurassic Park" films...
