Kirsten Dunst Is Back For Spider-Man 4!

Love her or hate her, the vampire child grown up will be Mary Jane in Spider-Man 4.
This from WorstPreviews.com:

"In addition, the studio has also revealed that Kirsten Dunst will reprise her role as Mary Jane Watson. It was only recently that Columbia Pictures and Sam Raimi weren't sure if Dunst would be in the picture."

I don't mind her being in the movie, although I think there are so many other fine red headed flawless actresses out there in Hollywood land that could fill the shoes. But hey, as long as Spider-Man isn't saving her AGAIN I'm cool with it.

Wow, I thought people were complaining that she wasnt good look enough to play Mary Jane, not her acting ability, which I think such criticism is poorly placed. Dunst is a quite a Fine actress. I think she's done a phenominal job and has really invented the character.

I'm quite thrilled that she will be returning.

I agree. Unfortunately, Gwen Stacey was left out of the script so Bryce Dallas Howard took a part on another film. This is how they got Dunst back according to who I talked to. No shared spotlight. It is yet again an MJ gets kidnapped story.

Kill off MJ? No way I love her (doesn't mean I really like the actress or she the best person for the role though). To me, she is important to Spider-Man as Lois Lane is important to Superman. This time just don't let her get kidnapped all the time and let her help Spidey out or something instead. I never care for Gwen Stacey because I know nothing about her and she was never introduced to me on Spider-Man The Animated Series (1994). The person I really want to see in Spidey 4 over than Gwen Stacey is Black Cat (Felicia Hardy).

in Davids script gwen stacy was included and boy did they spider-man 2 it. Peter revealed to curt connors and gwen who he is. Does that sound like an mj and doc ock revealing scene to anyone ?

So Kirsten Dunst didn't want competition or something? Lol. Now the real question is, who is going to kidnap her this time. We've had the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Sandman and Venom. I don't see the Lizard kidnapping her unless he's intelligent and can talk.

Peter needs to stop being a little weiner and start being the cocky smart ass he has always been in the comics,breaking tension in serious moments.Also for the love of god,KEEP YOUR MASK ON DAMMIT.Why is it every scene he is actually in suit he must stop and take his mask off? Is his voice not enough to emphasize the emotion of a scene he has to take it off,especially in broad daylight where theirs plenty of witnesses about?

I wouldn't be surprised if in SM4 he did what he did in Civil War and unmasked to the whole world.

The reason why the mask is off all the time is because Raimi wants people to care about Peter Parker, not Spider-Man.
