My opinion on Mysterio is that he doesn't fit the mold of film. I don't see it happening and I'm starting to hope it doesn't happen. There is plenty of build up for the Lizard character that I hope they expand upon. However, I have thought that Mysterio providing brains and Lizard providing brute strength has been appealing, but on secondary opinion, Lizard can both be a psychological villain and physical threat.

I'd much prefer that Campbell play a real role, but perhaps as an assisting character, someone like Ned Leeds for example.

umm... no. there is a HUGE fan base with bruce campbell being mysterio, just like they have one with mary winstead as MJ. Now there is one with evan rachel wood as mj being that she is already playing mj in the musical. Think logically... bruce's roles have been minor and cameo, now it changes to MAJOR ? You know whats coming. Sadly, I rather have kraven and lizard but we will see...

the spider-man franchise is a mess, i know I also posted that the spiderman musical is back on from the EW article but, I am hearing different from the agency. I heard that the only reason that news broke out is because they people behind the musical thought that since disney bought out marvel that they would financially back them up but, disney isnt at all. They are WAY over budget still and it doesent look well for the musical. As far as the villians and where the heck they are going is still up in the air. They are more fixated on the storylines and concept designs / principal photography and will worry about which villian to use later which in all honestly is worse off than with what happened with spider-man 3. I cant wait to hear more about what happened with the fourth film this time around. Enough with the drama in the movies, we have had enough crying and conflict for the past 3 films bring on the action already !

Choosing the villains later?! They start filming in like four months. They have to do concept designs and stuff for the villains too. Unless they already know who the villains will be and just are having a hard time with the story.

Well i know he portrayed interest from around after part 3 in using the Lizard, because he felt it was time to use Connor and give him his story, and plus side its a story the fans have been urging for.

There was further news of him being interested in bringing in the Sinister Six, that still may happen as for he stated that Spider-man 5 & 6 are back to back features.
He once stated on using Carnage but with a PG-13 certificate, once he saw the fan reaction, he lost interest in the whole concept.
Lastly he portrayed interest in using Morbius, which me personally think is a bad thing, because...

First of all
Vampires don't fit into the whole spiderman universe.

Secondly
It sounded like he was trying to cash cow in the whole Vampires are the next big thing because of Twilight.

Thirdly and finally
Morbius deserves his own movie along with the rest of the Midnight Sons team

It is just lizard.

How i know its not fake, because the same treatment is on Abataire WGA page, so there is no way its a fake unless Abataire himself is a fake.
Its possible they could have improvised it from then on, but then it will probably turn out the same way as SM3.
SM3 was just originally meant to be Sandman & New Goblin with the symbiote ending with it stating that Venom was still alive.
But then they brought in venom for the last 2 drafts, henceforth why it didn't work and why he had so little screen time.
He was mainly introduced because of the fan demand and uproar.

I read the script and its kinda bad, I am going to rewrite the script and send it out EVERY WHERE. and show marvel how a true fan can write a script. My problems with the script, once again we have peter revealing his identity not only to gwen but to curt conners as well. It reminded me of what happened in spider-man 2. I love the idea that mj and pete split and opened up a relationship with gwen. If sony goes with this script even if its polished by peter ross, it will fail horribly. I also didnt feel the so called drama and this guys spelling is horrible. You got to be kidding me sony, this is the best you can do for a writer ? I bet you half of the people on this board that are true fans can write mind blowing scripts. Being that they are filming soon I am going to rewrite the damn thing with MAJOR changes.

I am sick and tired of marvel only having stan lee as a cameo. I am giving him a spot as jonah jamesons father. Not a HUGE role but similair to john jamesons from the 2nd film. He deserves it.

It wont be the best script in the world but, I promise that alot of spider-man fans will be happy with this version than davids.

I am positive that many of you on here can write a spider-man script that would rattle fans worlds and give them what they deserve but these writers who have no experience with these characters gotta go !

No wonder they cant come up with something creative and keep doing remakes and reboots.
