i'm gonna say they industry want to make sure they can make a profit or there money back so at the moment i doubt it will come to life unless they re realses the first one to get a new younger fanbase

Does anyone know how far they've even gotten with the production? I've seen a few pictures and know Gendy Tartakovski is directing but have heard nothing for ages.

I was a bit dissapointed they decided to make it a sequel, there's so much potential for a prequel. There's an ok manga prequel, but i'm more interested in the time before and after the Crystal is broken and how the Skeksis rose to power.
