According to sources, actress/model Ashley Hartman is up for the role as Ariel Darkchylde. Ashley first became popular as a top 32 contestant on American Idol Season 2 and moved on to create a impressive fan base by her appearance and performance. She later moved on to a role in the number 1 TV show at the time, "The O.C." Ashley's acting credits also include appearing on "Quintuplets", and roles in the films "Abominable" and "Mystic Blood:The Kindling". Ashley has also been noted as one of MAXIM magazine's, "The 5 Most Gorgeous Girls in Hollywood!"
