You have a lot to learn my friend. First, no one has actually got a clear view of what the Mothman looks like, NO ONE!!! Even if they did you couldn't see anything because its sitings were mostly at night time. So there is no way people could have accurately knew what the Mothman looks like.
I am from West Virginia and have heard stories of the Mothman since I was 4 years old. So I think I would have some clue as to what I am saying, not someone that saw the movie and thinks he knows it. The movie in my opinion was good, I liked it. Some parts required thinking and even though as you said there is only a half-second glimpse of the Mothman, how do we even know thats what it looked like??? We don't, we are getting information from people that saw Mothman and piecing it together and making an image of what they thought it looked like. Not all movies require something to pop out at different camera angles.
After reading your review I was pissed and still am, so I'm done with this post.
