They say this movie is based on actual events, they could be talking about real eyewitness accounts! The legend of the real mothman is kind of creepy so maybe this movie is too! Have you seen any of the Mothman websites, trailers, etc.? I started looking into articles after hearing the movie plans...it is based on real accounts, according to book info!!
