Director Frazer Lee Outlines Official Site

SUBMITTED BY Kit-Kat

February 8, 2005

URBANE, the demonic horror shocker from writer/director Frazer Lee now has an official website live that is featuring music from Urbane scorer Claudio Simonetti (Suspiria, Dawn of the Dead) and exclusive audio by every horror fan's favorite Hellraiser, Doug Bradley.

Director Frazer Lee told us, "Doug performed some awesome, chilling voiceovers for a secret feature on the website. Yes, just like a DVD, www.urbanethemovie.com includes a hidden 'Easter Egg' that really sets the tone of the movie. See if you can find it.... good luck!"

Bradley's audio session was recorded in London on 27 January 2005 by top sound designer Chris Phinikas of Bubble TV, who also provided chilling SFX for Lee and Bradley's award winning horror short Red Lines).

The new site was created by ace designer Rosa Lawrence at www.minadream.com and features concept art from acclaimed artists Shane Oakley and James Husbands, and all the latest information about the URBANE movie.

"I see the Urbane website as a rolling archive of the movie's production," says a clearly excited Lee, "Not to mention a prototype for the wealth of DVD extras we are planning. We'd like horror fans to register for updates so we can keep you posted on developments as they happen. That way, you can watch the movie unfold and get an inside look at the creation of this independent horror production and don't worry, we won't pass your details on to any demons!"

The site also features e-cards that tell you whether you truly are an 'Incubus' or a 'Succubus', downloadable banners for your own website and a casting quiz, enter to win an URBANE shirt!

Urbane is shooting in summer 2005 from a screenplay by Frazer Lee and Max Kinnings. Joseph Alberti and Mark Wooding (Tobe Hooper's Toolbox Murders) are producing for Robber Baron Productions and Themroc Limited. Make-up legend Bob Keen is creating prosthetics for the movie, which tells the story of a young medical student forced to confront the evil night demons, the Urbane.
