ony Pictures and the Sam Raimi/Rob Tapert shiver shingle, Ghost House Pictures, has to move quick on The Grudge 2 if they're eyeing to meet its anticipated October 20th, 2006 release date.
According to screenwriter Stephen Susco, who has been kind enough to keep THC's Dread Central in the loop on all the horror happenings in his world, the sequel is well on its way to the starting line.
"I'm leaving on Thursday for Japan and Ill be there for a couple weeks as Grudge 2 gets off the ground. Were casting now, and I believe cameras will roll around January 30," he tells us.
There has been some speculation as to whether original Grudge star Sarah Michelle Gellar will return. Susco appears to be keeping quiet on the issue, but we'll find out what we can.
