The last time we heard of Stephen Susco he was balancing work on Ghost House Pictures' sequel to The Grudge and a remake to the 1980 slasher Prom Night. The writer tells DreadCentral that progress is being made on The Grudge 2 and that, "we're finally moving forward with the script, after a heck of a lot of experimentation."
"We will probably start casting in October," he adds. "Shooting will begin either very late in the year or early next." Susco reveals that because of his focus on the follow-up he's had to walk away from his supernatural-themed approach to Prom Night which is also set up at Sony and aiming for a similar start date.
