April 12, 2007 — The Oscar-winning cartoon "Happy Feet" remained the top-selling DVD in the country for the second consecutive week, and surpassed "The Departed" to become the No. 1 seller so far this year.
"The Good Shepherd," meanwhile, debuted as the No. 1 renter, according to Home Media Magazine's rental chart for the week ending April 8. The spy thriller earned an estimated $8.7 million in rental stores, compared with $8.5 million for second-ranked "The Pursuit of Happyness," the previous week's top renter.
