| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |

| I gotta Tell you, I've been kinda worried for my two favorite monsters. As I'm sure you well know, critics aren't always as kind to movies as they could. And AvP took a lot of crap. However, as I've always claimed - reviews of whatever movie, should be made by those, to whom the movie is made for.. In other words, I don't think an old grumpy guy should come near, for example AvP.. However, I enjoyed it.. It could have been better, but it could have been a lot worse.. The only thing I didn't like, is that I would have wanted a little more focus on the Aliens and Predators(the Predators most of all) and not the humans.. Because we have learned that they are indeed a sophisticated and advaced race, something I would like to know more about.. But still, AvP, managed to do, what I suspect was the point - it entertained me.. I liked it, so when the critics, disagreed with me, I feared that we wouldn't get another visit from the deepest darkness of space.. I'm glad now, that my fears have been proven wrong.. I'm really looking forward to AvP II, and even though it'll never be any Oscar-material, I still think it'll do exactly what it's prequel did - entertain me.. |
