To you, it was too dark. To you there was no plot, to you it sucked. To me, it didn't.

Plot: Predator ship crashes. Predalien lets all the aliens lose on earth. A predator elite is called to clean up the mess and kill this Predalien. The Predator goes down there and hunts the Predalien and kills the aliens and gets rid of all evidence. The humans really are caught in the middle. Just minding there own business and suddenly find themselves in the middle between a new clash of the titans. In the end, Man is the greatest Predator. And a Predalien is stronger then Alien and Predator. Film ends with the bad guys from Alien, Aliens and Alien 3 getting there hands on this new tech for the first time. Now there plan to become the evil we know them to be begins.

And who the hell cared about the characters. What I noticed is all of you should of been expecting that. I mean from all the news that the brothers let out was about how well there getting the Aliens and Predator right. Thats all it was and thats all it's meant to be. Alien and Predator. Not Human vs Alien vs Predator. I mean seriously, the movie has Predator AND Alien. You wanted to walk in and find award winning actors?! I guess you don't like how Ridly Scott got no named actors at the time to star in it. We know them now, but then, we didn't.

Everything going on really made everyone believe that everyone truly was just going to see Aliens and Predator. I guess that's all wrong. The movie's characters was Wolf and Chet. Chet has aliens as it's family/army. The humans are there to create Chet's army. Wolf has to stop it. There. There you go. That's the movie. Now it really is up to any of you who went to see the movie for Aliens and Predator, or went to see Alien all over again with a Predator in there. You know if we got what Alien and Aliens had, we would barely have enough camera time for the Aliens and Predator to even fight. I mean watch the old movies and you'll see what I mean. The movie Alien, we got mostly actors cause we didn't know what was going on. It was a horror movie. Now I don't think Aliens are really that scary now, we all know what there like and we all know what there capable of. Just put them in there. We know a Predator done right can kill a single Alien. Thats too easy. 1 Predator fighting a bunch of aliens like in the games and the second Aliens movie. Thats better. AVPR was not too dark. Acting...who cares ( I felt like they fit the characters that we are purposely meant to not care about) and The Predator and Aliens were done right.

Long time no see. Hell the first one was all right, well sort of bit rushed as for the 2nd I have not seen it yet as I am in the UK so it will be out this Friday

Actually, it's a very rare condition, but I thought the lack of plot and character development were the things that made this movie really GOOD.

In AVP1, you had the people talking about their families and how the guy funding the expedition "needed" the experience because he was dying. I found it just got in the way.

AVP2 didn't have any of that. Seriously? How much plot and character development do you need in a film about two aliens kicking each other's asses?

For those people who want to see this movie, i dont recomend it. The story aint better than the first AVP, but the fights are abit longer BUT you barely cant see sh*t cause its so dark. Hopefully by the time the dvd get released they fix this.

I'd save my money and see this on DVD so you can make a copy of it yourself instead of buying it.

Oh and yea, i agree with that VS guy that they have to go back with separate Alien and Predator movies. These AVP movies are seriously becoming a joke.

And your argument did nothing for me. The alien costumes looked fake, the filming was terrible, the lighting was terrible, the acting was terrible and the plot was non-existant. I think the two icons together make the movies cheesy and not scary at all. They need to return to a separate Alien 5 and Predator 3 no more of this cheesy AVP stuff. It doesn't even sell that much.

AVP 1 attempted character development with those ridiculous stories, and failed misearably. AVP 2 was def. a better movie than 1 but sucked balls even so.
