| Hey all, I saw the movie yesterday and can honestly say I havent been this disappointed since Catwoman and Mel Gibsons decision to stick-it-to-the-man, literally, with Passion of the Christ. If your looking to have a movie impact you in an intense emotional way, this movie is most definitly a good choice. You will leave angry, let down and betrayed. I do not understand why people legitimatly enjoy this movie, lest it be for their lack of knowledge in the fields of acting and writing. And might I add, its not scary, not at any one time. Both Cillian Murphey and Rachel McAdams are to blame for its failure, but the blame lay mainly in the hands of Wes Craven, a now arrogant bluff and the writing team. The reason I call him that is because he claims to pioneer a genre he cant control and much less out perform other directors in. Yes Rachel is beautiful and Cillian a wonderful actor, but that does not make up for the never-to-be-seen-again 2 hours of my life. I dont want to ruin the movie by spilling my guts over every horrible part of the movie, because that would be against my own will let alone yours. But I will tell all you movie loving guys out there that what you want to happen from the first 30 mins of the movie, never comes to pass. Because everyone knows hotel managers are stealth trained air mashals capable of saving the world from yet another not so potential tragedy. I think she got her inspiration from Bruce Willis and the die hard series.
