Underworld: The Rise of the Lycans “A Prequel!!!??” — Allitess [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: N/A How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Why are they doing a prequel? It's stupid! I mean listen to what Selene says at the end of Evolution: "An unknown chapter lies ahead. The lines that have divided the clans have now been blurred. Chaos and infighting are inevitable. All that is certain is that darkness is still ahead, but for now, for the first time, I look into the light with new hope." That indicted that there are adventures for Selene and Michael to have still, so why cut Michael out completely when there is still so much for them to do. Sure the history of the two races needs to be told, but they can tell it in flashbacks like they did in the second film. They're even saying that Selene might not even appear in the film!!
