Oscar-nominated actress Virginia Madsen (Sideways) has signed to star opposite Harrison Ford and Paul Bettany in The Wrong Element for Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow, reports Variety and ComingSoon.
In the action-thriller, directed by Richard Loncraine and written by Joe Forte, Madsen will play a security expert's (Ford) wife who is kidnapped along with her daughter. When his efforts to steal a large sum of money come to the attention of law enforcement, he races to complete the transfer in time to save his family.
Bettany plays the villain in the movie.
