Shaun of the Dead “Dead Good!” — Cybopath [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... "Shaun of the Dead" The movie starts off in fairly usual brittish comedy standerds, except it's actually funny, everything seems normal and you would be forgiven for thinking it's a typical romantic/comedy. But then the zombies kick in this is where the movie becomes horror/comedy and one of the best. Unlike other zombie comedies the creators play it real, not making the zombies talk or do stupid things, these are just your tipical "Classic" Zombies and the make-up is some of the best I've seen. Infact most of the comedy is real, the sort of stuff you or your mate would say or do. The 3rd act becomes much darker alot more than you'd expect considering it's comedy begining and this is what gives the movie strengh infact I'll rank it up on my top 5 zombie movie list along with Romero's trilogy and that's something because zombie wise I'm very hard to please. Fans of Romero's trilogy and Evil Dead will catch all the referances to the films. It's a great film and at last a brittish comedy I don't want to gouge my eyes out rather than watch like "Bridget Jones" or "Four Weddings". Movie Review: N/A My thoughts on this movie...
