"But Romero liked Shaun of the Dead, and he agreed to do their documentary if the guys played zombies in his film. "George wanted to give me a speaking part, but I said, 'No, I want to do a zombie, that's what I came to do,'" Wright said. Meanwhile, Pegg and Wright are re-teaming with their Shaun cast for another movie. "It's not a sequel," Wright said. "We've pretty much killed off all the characters. It's in the spirit of Shaun, with the same sort of flavor and the same people, but a different genre." Are British zombies any different from Romero's American zombies? Nick Frost added his own humorous title: Night of the Living Ed. However, humorous titles aside, it looks like the sequel will not be happening. "Shaun of the Dead 2 seems unlikely," Wright said. "We don't want to do a cash-in." The director and his troupe of Nick Frost and Simon Pegg are currently collaborating on the action/comedy Hot Fuzz. The trio would like to work on another project together, provided it is right, but no details of such a project were forthcoming.
