September 2, 2004 — According to Cinescape, Ashton Kutcher ("Butterfly Effect") is in the running to play the next victim of Catherine Trammel in "Risk Addiction: Basic Instinct 2." The anonymous source for that site claims that he will play "a young educated shrink that she manipulates." The sequel will be directed by Lee Tamahori.
