July 23, 2004 — Director Tim Sullivan has apparently discovered some untapped acting potential in yet another country singer: Travis Tritt will be appearing in Sullivan's debut, 2001 Maniacs. From the looks of this exclusive behind-the-scenes still, Tritt will be starring as, you guessed it, one of the film's eponymous maniacs. According to those on Maniacs' Georgia-based set, this country star is a huge genre fan who makes it a point to catch all horror releases in their theatrical run.
