June 4, 2005 — IGN FilmForce reports that IDW Publishing has announced a release of a five-part miniseries to coincide with George A. Romero's Land of the Dead. The first issue of the adaptation hits store shelves in early August, just a few weeks after the June 24 release of the film.

The first issue, which arrives in August, features two covers. One is a photo cover, the other features art by newcomer Chris Bolton.
