It's too bad it bombed at the Box Office.

cuz i really wanted to see George do more Zombie flicks. I loved Land of the Dead, i thought i was great, alittle cheesy at times, but still good. It's in my opinion better than the Classic Dawn (maybe because i seen it a billion times) i just love that it takes place more outside in the towns and city.

it should make atleast 6 million this weekend. but still im prutty sure the studio won't consider makeing another. hopefully Dimond Dead still gets made, but i don't think it will unless they change the Marilyn Manson thing and come up with a better story line.

Well if you REALLY think about it, we're in a win/win situation w/ Romero. If the movie does good to the studio they may allow him to do another movie. If the studio says "you know, we did good, but not good enough for a sequal" then he might get a chance to work w/ the Master of Horror project

I think he's all ready filming the Masters of Horror project. If you go under IMDB.com and look under his name, he's got alot planed. So i don't think LAND OF THE DEAD: PART TWO will get made. theres a small chance the studio will agree to makeing another one.

Wait for the DVD sales. They'll go through the roof.

THE BRIDE: It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it coming. When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I'll be waiting.

And with that apology, statement, and invitation, The Bride walks out the kitchen side door, leaving the little girl to her mourning.

Yeah I know my screen name sucks.

I agree with Moviefreak, wait until the DVD sales come in....Then I think the studio will see that another Romero movie will be a good thing!! I loved Land Of The Dead and will certainly be adding it to my DVD collection!!

Mmm-hmm. A lot of people weren't watching it because they didn't like the idea of a R-rated Romero zombie movie. An unrated DVD will draw them in and it'll catch on by word of mouth. That's what I think.

Land of the Dead remains in Italy further on successful courses. The film played at its 2. Weekend again 222'000 euro! Finally the film will bring in alone in Italy over 2 million! If it should run in the other European countries also so well, one can count on a large bringing in result. In the USA the film brought so far millions for 20,262'000 in.

alright now don't get me wrong this is no flame. i was really looking forward to the movie, hell one day it was going to release din october then i found out it had been moved to the day before my birthday. and with all the good reviews. i was really loking forward to it. then i watched it and was disapointed. i thought it was pretty bad. here is my complaint. the big thing that alot of people didn't like about the dotd remake was running zomibes. now we almost got that in here. now i loved day of the dead. i thought the zombies evolving was a very interesting story. but i think it translated to quickly on screen. in one film it was happening. then it happened. now i think every director get to make a bad movie. and this is romero's, but i def hope to see him make 2 more. and i will still by the unrated land of the dead the day it's released. but it's kind of interesting. the movie was going to be released sometime in october originally. then it was pushed. and now i am not sure about the exact dates but we might get to see the dvd before it was originally planned for the theatre.
